Murals for children’s rooms, kindergartens and schools

A painted wall can turn a child’s bedroom, a kindergarten classroom or a school corridor into a place children want to be: a story, a character, a world of their own. I paint custom murals for children, indoors and outdoors, and you get a free mock-up on your wall before the offer.

Murals for children’s rooms

The mural starts from the child: what they love, what calms them and how they use the room. It can be a forest with animals, a starry sky, mountains, characters created just for them or simply playful shapes and colours, on a whole wall or just the play corner.

Together with the parents we choose the theme and the palette: calm tones for the sleeping area, bright colours for the play area. The design is drawn for the exact size of the wall, so it is not a repeating wallpaper pattern but a one-of-a-kind piece for their room.

Murals for kindergartens

In a kindergarten, the walls can become part of play and learning: animals, seasons, letters and numbers, a miniature town or a landscape children recognise themselves in. Classrooms, corridors, stairs, cloakrooms or courtyard walls can all be painted.

For long spaces such as corridors, a pattern that runs along the whole wall works very well, for example “Ornamental hills” from the design library, which adapts to any length.

Murals for schools

A mural can give a school its identity: on the façade, in the courtyard, in corridors or on the stairwell. It can tell the story of the school, the neighbourhood or the community’s values.

I painted Tree of Life, a black-and-white line-art mural on the façade of the school on Șoseaua Gării Cățelu in Bucharest, for Bucharest Street Art Festival 2025.

How we work

We start from the space and the people who use it: you send me photos and the approximate size of the wall and tell me what you have in mind. I propose directions and a free mock-up on the photo of your wall, we adjust it together and, once approved, I paint the mural on site.

In kindergartens and schools the theme can be chosen together with the teachers and the children; their drawings can even be the starting point of the mural.

Questions about murals for children

Which themes suit a child’s room?

Anything the child loves that will still look good in a few years: nature and animals, the sky and space, mountains and forests, playful shapes and colours, or a character created just for them. For a room that grows with the child, themes less tied to a specific age work best.

Do you paint in kindergartens and schools, outdoors too?

Yes. I paint both indoors (classrooms, corridors, stairs) and outdoors, on façades, fences or in the courtyard, like the Tree of Life mural on a school façade in Bucharest.

Can I choose a ready-made design?

Yes. The design library has designs that suit children, kindergartens and schools, such as “Ornamental hills”, “Daisies & dots” or “Giraffe in a top hat”. Each one is adapted in size and colour for your wall.

How can I see what the mural will look like?

Send me a photo of the wall through the configurator or the contact form and you get a free mock-up of the mural on your wall before the offer.
